• Introduced by Rep. Keith R. McCall (D) on February 24, 2009, to amend the PA Election Code by defining "private institutions" and including private institutions in the list of institutions for which the political parties must assign a representative to obtain the names of people belonging to those institutions who would like to receive absentee ballots. Private institutions are defined in the bill to be: (1) a long-term care nursing facility; (2) a domiciliary care home; (3) a personal care home; or(4) an assisted living residence.
