Introduced by Rep. Dan Moul (R) on March 3, 2009, to establish that when a court finds that a person has willfully violated an order for child or spousal support, the court may hold the person in indirect criminal contempt, punishable by any one or more of the following: (1) a fine not to exceed $1,000; (2) imprisonment for a period not to exceed six months; (3) probation for a period not to exceed one year; (4) an order for other relief.
