• Introduced by Sen. Edwin B. Erickson (R) on February 20, 2009, to amend the eligibility provisions of the Merchant Marine World War War II Veterans Bonus Act. Specifically, the eligibility period is changed to Dec. 7, 1941, through Dec. 31, 1946. The bill also extends the application period and the expiration date of the act.
