What's with the strict building laws?
Honestly if I want to build a shed i have to get a permit, and an inspector for it.
I'm just looking for some answers... so i ask why? Why so strict?
Based on what they do, my best guess is money. Think of it as a personalized tax. They figure if you have enough money to build a shed they need to get their share. Also this way if you make major improvemnets in your house or on your land they can raise your assessment value and raise your taxes.
