Apparently, this is going to be the budget bill debated - with possible amendments - in the House tomorrow and possibly voted on Friday (July 17).
Here is some analysis of the bill and the spending plan the House Republicans will probably introduce as an amendment.

The House of Representatives has begun debating the Pennsylvania state budget (HB 1416) likely to continue today and tomorrow. For live updates, you can follow the Commonwealth Foundation on Twitter, and the hashtag PABudget. You can also follow Matt Brouillette and me on Twitter.
If we had the guts, we (in numbers) would stop paying our state income taxes, school taxes, and any other tax we could avoid. This would shut the whole state down and then what would our "so called leaders" do? Pay it from their own salaries??????
I can not believe it!!! All that time (100 plus days) and the budget was only trimmed by $1.3B. So what is next year going to look like? Sure wish we had some strong leadership. I can't understand how our govenor got away with this.
The voting was clearly along party lines. More proof that to keep government small, we have to get the Democrats out of Harrisburg...and DC for that matter!
