This amount is archaic. to donate only $8000 in one year to an organization's fund raiser seems small. If my VFW would want to donate to the local Fire Department for their new fire truck AND to the local little league baseball team for new uniforms or a trip to the LIttle League World Series in Williamsport, PENNSYLVANIA, we would have to eliminate one of them. This kind of legislation should be ona referendum ballot at /on elections/election day. Let those who spend/live in those sreas with establishments who now have small games of chance licenses decide how much is too much to donate. I don't expect to tell Philadelphia or Scranton to limit their donating 'strength' and I wouldn't expect that they would want to dictate ours either.
